Cartilage grafts can also improve the bridge or the nasal tip. For patients with wide nasal bases, Dr. Mang will make a small incision concealed by the alar groove between the nose and cheek to reduce the base of the nose.
After achieving the desired changes to the nasal structures, Dr. Mang will drape the skin over the nasal framework, close the incisions, and add splints and bandages to cover the nose. Depending on the characteristics of your procedural plan, rhinoplasty typically takes 1 to 2 hours.
Rhinoplasty Aftercare
